Lay down

To sign "Lay down" in American Sign Language (ASL), use a classifier handshape "V" where the back of the "V" hand is placed in the palm of the non-dominant "open-B" hand. Think of the index finger and middle finger in the "V" handshape as legs lying down on the bed for a memory aid.
