To sign "Grave" in American Sign Language (ASL), make a flat "5" handshape with your non-dominant hand, palm facing sideways and fingertips pointing forward. Make a "U" handshape with your dominant hand, palm facing downward. Place your "U" handshape on your non-dominant palm and move it downward, as if digging into the ground.
