Dryer

To sign "Dyer" in American Sign Language (ASL), form a "D" handshape (index finger extended).

Move the "D" handshape from one side of the mouth to the other, changing to an "X" handshape (index finger bent) as you do so. This is the sign for "dry."

Repeat the "dry" movement.

Form claw "5" handshapes (fingers spread and slightly bent).

Move the claw "5" handshapes in a squeezing motion, mimicking the tumbling action inside a dryer.
