How to sign
How to sign
To sign "Counselor" in American Sign Language (ASL), place your dominant "O" hand near the wrist of your non-dominant hand which is held in a flat handshape.
Open your dominant hand into a "5" handshape (fingers spread apart) as you move it outward.
Repeat this motion twice to signify counseling or giving advice.
Sign "person" by bringing both hands, palms facing each other, straight down from shoulder height to the waist (this is the common sign for the person indicator or "agent" suffix in ASL).
